1 Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RemodelMatch websites, quote-request forms, and related services (the "Services"), operated by Castlewood Media AB ("RemodelMatch", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing the Services or submitting information through them, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2 What RemodelMatch is
RemodelMatch is an independent lead-generation and matching service. We connect homeowners who request a quote with one or more third-party security dealers, installers, or their authorized partners ("Providers"). We are not a security company, alarm provider, contractor, or installer; we do not sell, install, monitor, or service any equipment, and we are not affiliated with SafeStreets, Inc.
Any agreement for products or services is solely between you and the Provider. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, that relationship or any transaction arising from it.
3 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States with the authority to make decisions about the property described in your request. By using the Services you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and your own.
4 Your submissions & consent to contact
When you submit a quote request, you authorize us to share your information with matched Providers and you consent to be contacted as described in our Privacy Policy.
You expressly consent to receive calls and text messages — including by automatic telephone dialing systems and pre-recorded or artificial voice messages — and emails from RemodelMatch and matched Providers at the contact details you provide, regarding your request, even if your number is on a federal or state Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out at any time.
You agree that the information you provide is true, accurate, and current, and that you will not submit another person's information without their permission.
5 No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee that you will be matched with a Provider, that a Provider will contact you, or that any quote, price, product, or service will be offered or available. Quotes, pricing, and availability are determined solely by the Providers and may change. We make no representation about the qualifications, licensing, or performance of any Provider.
6 Third-party providers, links & content
The Services may contain links to or content from third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, products, services, or practices, including those of matched Providers. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that party.
7 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or another person's information without authorization.
- Use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized purpose.
- Interfere with, disrupt, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems.
- Introduce malware or otherwise compromise the security or integrity of the Services.
- Reproduce, resell, or exploit any part of the Services without our permission.
8 Intellectual property
The Services, including all text, design, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by or licensed to Castlewood Media AB and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. "RemodelMatch" and related marks may not be used without our prior written permission.
9 Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any information provided through them is accurate or complete.
10 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RemodelMatch and Castlewood Media AB will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services or any interaction with a Provider, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us (if any) or USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RemodelMatch, Castlewood Media AB, and our affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your submissions, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
12 Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Stockholm, Sweden shall have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country or state of residence provide otherwise. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law applicable where you live.
13 Changes to the terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Services.
